"I am delighted to provide a glowing review for Dane and the team at Overflow Pool. My experience began with hiring a well-known landscape architect to design my backyard. While the initial design was appealing, circumstances led to our parting ways. However, the architect introduced me to Dane, their custom pool contractor. Dane not only provided a bid for the pool but also offered to manage all non-pool aspects of the project, including BBQ, fire-pit, travertine pavers, drain lines, ramada, gate, trellises, steel architectural panels, stucco/paint cinder block fence, low voltage lighting, and landscaping. Initially, I was apprehensive about getting more involved in the project than anticipated, as I had expected the landscape architect to handle coordination with all trades. However, in hindsight, I realized that being more engaged in the project resulted in a better outcome. Dane's work on the pool and all other project components was exceptional. He had an extensive network of contacts in the trades and was supportive when I chose to manage certain parts of the project myself. For instance, when faced with high quotes for steel to construct the ramada, Dane facilitated my collaboration with a vendor to use extruded aluminum instead. He assisted with specifications and ensured proper installation and wiring without any additional charges. Despite the project taking about a year, primarily due to delays in material availability, Dane's professionalism and commitment to quality remained unwavering. His choice of subcontractors, although resulting in longer wait times, ensured superior workmanship, as attested by the city inspector, who praised the shotcrete work as some of the best she had seen. Although there were occasional mistakes and miscommunications during the project, Dane consistently went above and beyond to rectify any issues, even those not of his making. His honesty, transparency regarding costs and expectations, and willingness to accommodate my involvement in certain project aspects were commendable. I cannot overstate Dane's integrity and dedication to customer satisfaction. While other subcontractors attempted to deflect blame or deceive, Dane remained forthright and ensured that everything was resolved satisfactorily. My heartfelt gratitude goes out to Dane, Stephanie, Matt, and Wayne for their outstanding work and professionalism throughout the project. Thank you all."
